Call for Papers - 20th Rabat International Colloquium 2026: Multilateralism Challenged by the Rise of Industrial and Commercial Sovereignism

The WTO Chair at Mohammed V University Rabat, Morocco, invites submissions for the 20th Rabat International Colloquium, to be held from 12-14 November 2026. The colloquium, themed “Multilateralism Challenged by the Rise of Industrial and Commercial Sovereignism,” will bring together researchers, academics, doctoral candidates, policymakers, and international experts to examine the profound transformations reshaping the global trading system. Discussions will address topics such as the crisis of multilateralism, trade fragmentation, geopolitical and geoeconomic shifts, the role of the Global South, climate-related trade policies, international monetary dynamics, and the implications of these developments for trade, growth, development, and well-being. Contributions are welcome in French or English.
